Reservation Terms & Conditions

1. Payment - A deposit of 25% of the accommodation price per person is required to secure your booking. An invoice for the deposit will be sent to you via e-mail on receipt of your booking form. The deposit is due within 10 working days of the date of the invoice. A receipt and confirmation of your booking will be sent to you by e-mail when we receive your deposit. If no deposit is received within 10 working days of the date of the invoice, we will cancel the reservation. The final balance is due for settlement on the evening prior to your departure. Balances for accommodation can be paid for by either: internet bank transfer (in Euros or Sterling), Euro cash or Euro cheque drawn on a French bank. Balances for any meals taken and/ or transport costs are payable in Euro cash or Euro cheque drawn on a French bank only.
2. Prices - Once a booking has been confirmed, the price of your reservation is guaranteed and will not be subject to any alterations.
3. Your Contract - A binding contract between us comes into existence when we send our receipt and confirmation. Please check the confirmation as soon as you receive it and raise any queries immediately.
4. Cancellations must be received in writing. Deposits are non-refundable. We will send you a cheque for any other balance you may have paid. In the event that Velo Pyrenees has to cancel your booking, any deposit and balance paid will be refunded in full.
5. Your accommodation will not be available until 4pm on the first day of your visit and you must leave the accommodation and property of the owners by 11am on your last day of visit unless authorisation has been given by the owners Lee Parish or Julie Moore. Latest check-in time is 7pm.
6. Any special needs, such as dietary requirements should be clearly noted on the booking form.
7. For the safety and comfort of our guests we operate a strict "no smoking" policy within the house.
We kindly ask that our guests respect our "no shoe" house policy and that they remove outdoor shoes when entering our home. This is for health and hygiene and helps to keep the rooms clean and comfortable for everyone. We would like everyone to feel comfortable, so please feel free to bring slippers to wear inside our house if you prefer.
8. Transport or airport transfers provided by us need to be confirmed by us with reasonable notice. We reserve the right to decline requests for transport or airport transfers. Before transportation we will advise you of the cost and require payment before completion of your stay. We will not be responsible for damage or theft to any of your belongings during these services.
9. Any damage or loss to our property or other guests caused by you or any member of your party must be paid for in full immediately. We expect all guests to have consideration for other people.
10. We accept no liability for the death of, or personal injury to, any persons during their visit, nor for any loss or damage resulting therefrom unless caused by the proven negligence of ourselves. Neither do we accept any responsibility for strikes, war, sickness, acts of God etc. over which we have no control.
11. You are advised to take out appropriate travel insurance for your needs.
12. In the unlikely event that you have grounds to complain, you must notify a representative of Velo Pyrenees immediately and we will try to resolve the issue. If you are not satisfied with our response, please write to us with full details of your complaint within one calendar month of the end of your holiday. We will respond within one month of receipt thereof.
